Gentle Yoga for Stress Relief

Join us every Tuesday from 12:15pm- 1:15pm for a restorative yoga class led by Syd The Yogini. Syd will guide you through gentle stretching exercises along with traditional yoga poses—all the while emphasizing mindfulness and attention to the breath. No experience necessary.
Cost: $12 per class. Drop-in basis.
Self-Care as Health Care: Introduction to Mind-Body Techniques for Women

Regardless of age or situation, women often tend to be in the role of “caretaker” at any given point in their life, frequently putting the needs of others before their own. Over time, chronic stress and lack of self-care can have a detrimental and irreversible effect on physical health. In this 8-week Mind-Body skills group, nutritionist and nurse practitioner Ashley Mannell will teach you research-based healing therapies to help you reduce and relieve stress, boost your immune system, and create wellness within the structure of an intimate and supportive group setting. Each week you will learn a specific mind-body technique that you can immediately integrate into your daily routine that help bring you back to a sense of peace and calm.
